Live-In Superintendent

Our client, Ottawa’s largest residential housing provider, continues to add to their team. They are currently seeking strong Live-In Building Superintendents to join their property management team permanently in the downtown core. The Superintendent would report to the Property Manager and would be responsible for overseeing the general maintenance and operations of the residential property.
The key responsibilities of the Superintendent:
- Responsible for overseeing the general operations
- Maintenance of the apartment facilities in a responsive and professional manner
- Addressing tenant concerns
- Assisting with rent collection and addressing building cleaning and maintenance needs
- The main point of contact for tenants and a representative of the organization
- Basic electrical, mechanical or plumbing maintenance
- Maintaining a journal of work requests and completions
- Ensuring services for garbage and snow removal are well maintained, and that codes are met and adhered to
