We have a 1 year term for an innovative and forward thinking Recruiter to help play an essential role in their growth.

Are you passionate about finding and nurturing talent? We are seeking a dynamic Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing client. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting the corporate office by guiding Hiring Managers through the full recruitment lifecycle and acting as a strategic business partner. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a shared services environment and help shape the organization’s future workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment Lifecycle Management: Support internal clients by managing the entire recruitment process, from identifying position requirements to onboarding new hires.
  • Strategic Partnering: Collaborate closely with Hiring Managers to understand their workforce needs, establish sourcing strategies, and provide guidance throughout the hiring process.
  • Talent Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline through proactive sourcing, social media engagement, and creating a referral network.
  • External Partnerships: Serve as the primary contact for external recruiters, employment centers, and associations. Actively participate in career fairs, student recruitment programs, and professional events.
  • Candidate Tracking: Utilize our HRIS system to monitor candidate progress and activity metrics from initial contact through to onboarding and retention.
  • Brand Ambassador: Represent and promote our organization to potential candidates, ensuring a positive and engaging experience.

The ideal candidate will bring a dynamic blend of energy, time management, and a deep commitment to excellence in recruitment. You will possess a post-secondary education in Human Resources or Business Administration, complemented by a minimum of two years of experience managing diverse recruitment projects. Your background will include proven success in working with a recruiting agency, and you will be adept at handling high-volume recruitment with ease. In this role, you will demonstrate versatility in recruiting for positions across various levels within the organization, from entry-level to senior roles. A comprehensive understanding of recruitment best practices will be essential, allowing you to proactively and efficiently manage your responsibilities with an exceptional sense of urgency. Building strong internal and external relationships will be crucial, as you will frequently interact with hiring managers and agencies. Your outstanding communication skills will help you streamline recruitment processes and create efficiencies that are appreciated by your clients. A solid grasp of interview etiquette and effective questioning techniques will be key in ensuring successful candidate interactions. You will be expected to juggle multiple recruitment mandates while consistently delivering a positive candidate experience from initial contact through negotiations and onboarding. Proficiency with social media search engines, online sourcing tools, and HRIS systems will be necessary to excel in this role. Experience in implementing employer brand and recruitment marketing initiatives will further bolster your effectiveness.

Please note that this is a one-year term position requiring a minimum on-site presence of three days per week to ensure effective collaboration and performance.
