As an Outside Sales & Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for prospecting new clients, managing existing accounts, and driving B2B sales of their safety product lines. You will collaborate with account managers and other category sales representatives, to showcase your specialized safety products, and leverage cross-selling opportunities within their extensive sales team. This role requires a proactive, money-motivated professional eager to elevate their career in a client-facing, high-impact position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and Acquire New Clients – Identify and target potential customers within the construction and hardware sectors to expand market presence.
  • Account Management – Manage and grow existing accounts, including those left untouched, maximizing revenue opportunities and building long-term client relationships.
  • B2B Sales & Product Expertise – Represent and promote our safety product lines, positioning yourself as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in safety solutions.
  • Client Meetings & Negotiations – Schedule and attend on-site meetings with clients, present product solutions, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
  • Cross-Selling Opportunities – Leverage a robust sales team to identify and execute cross-selling opportunities, driving revenue growth across multiple product lines.
  • Market Intelligence & Feedback – Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to provide strategic input to product development and marketing teams.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, outside sales, business development, or client-facing roles, within safety products, hardware, construction, or related industries. You should possess strong prospecting and negotiation skills with a proven track record of closing deals. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are essential for building and maintaining client relationships. We are looking for a self-motivated, goal-oriented, and financially driven individual with a passion for sales and business growth. The candidate must be able to work independently on the road and manage their time effectively to maximize client meetings and sales opportunities. We are looking for someone experienced and knowledgeable about safety products, looking for a well-established organization with a fantastic sales team.
