Position Title: Controller
Salary & Benefits: $140,000-$160,000 plus 10% bonus
Location: Mississauga, ON
Work Model: Hybrid – 3-4 times per week onsite

Our client is currently searching for a Controller to manage the preparation of financial statements, regulatory filings, and audits while ensuring the financial integrity of the company. This is a full-time, permanent role based in Mississauga, Ontario. In this role, you will be responsible for managing an accounting team of 6-7 staff, developing and implementing financial policies, and supporting strategic business decisions through financial analysis and reporting. You will also oversee budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and financial process improvements.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and be a CPA. You should bring a minimum of 4 years of management experience, preferably in a high-growth or Private Equity-owned environment. Experience with ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations or Dynamics AX), financial consolidations, and ASPE/GAAP compliance will be critical to success in this role. Our client is looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has excellent leadership skills, and can drive process improvements to enhance financial efficiency and reporting.
What will make you stand out:
• CPA designated
• Experience with ASPE and US GAAP financial reporting
• Strong knowledge of financial consolidations and management accounting
• Experience working in a Private Equity-owned or high-growth company
• Expertise in ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations or Dynamics AX
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
• Proven ability to implement process improvements and enhance financial reporting accuracy
